Natural bridge once privately owned is now a state park near the town of Lexington, Virginia. A lodge and tavern there offers dining in an open spacious atmosphere and extremely great service also host a really wonderful surf and turf buffet one night a month.  Natural Bridge itself is about a quarter mile hike from the visitor center and access is down a steep gorge via a man made staircase. There are caverns in the vicinity rumored to be the deepest cave system east of the Mississippi River.
